Downtown Disney

Downtown Disney opened in 1975 and is all about outdoor shopping, dining, and all around entertainment. Parking here is free along with admission and transportation to all Disney resorts.
This part of Disney World is split up into 3 parts:
  • Pleasure Island
  • Marketplace
  • West Side
Pleasure Island used to be the place for adults to go clubbing, but in 2008 the clubs closed to make the park more family friendly with restaurants and shops.
