Disney's Hollywood Studios (but it will always be MGM in my heart)

Disney's Hollywood Studios recently underwent a name change. In 2008 this park made the switch from being called Disney's MGM Studios. The name change took place to symbolize that the park has grown from simply representing the 'golden age' of movies to a celebration of music, television, movies, and theater entertainment.
Opened in 1989, the theme of this park is show business, particularly Hollywood of the 1930s and 1940s. Taking up 135 acres, this park is represented by the Sorcerer's hat from the film Fantasia.

This park consists of 6 themed areas:
  • Hollywood Boulevard
  • Echo Lake
  • Streets of America
  • Animation Courtyard
  • Pixar Place
  • Sunset Boulevard
